Ceasefire violation by Pakistan in Jammu & Kashmir

On Tuesday, one civilian was killed and three are injured as Pakistani forces targeted Indian army and villagers along International border and Line of Control in Jammu, Samba, Rajouri district.

  A 18 years old girl Ravinder Kour dauhter of Jorawar Singh of Jerda village died after a Pakistani shell exploded in kitchen of their house in the morning of 1st November. The incident happened around 7:30 AM.

At 6:30 AM on Tuesday morning Pakistani rangers started firing with small arms followed by a small morter at one place. They spread the fire at four to five places in Ramgarh Arnia sub-sectors in Samba and Jammu district. 

A soldier and a woman were killed in firing by the Pakistan army across the border in Jammu and Kashmir. Two more soldiers and a civilian were also injured in the firing.

Sources said that besides positioning border action team for the sneak attacks on Indian soldier, the Pakistani army deployed additional troops from 12 Mujahideen Battalion, 14 Okra infantry and 19 Mangla infantry close to there border on their side.

Pakistan has violated the ceasefire over 62 times since September 29 surgical strikes. 

Due to the tension between two countries the villagers living near the border are shifted away from the borders.
