Actor- director Honey Chhaya, predominantly known for his Gujarati films and plays, passed away on February 28 after a brief illness. As per reports, his sugar went low and was admitted in Cardinal Gracious Memorial Hospital since last five days. The maverick actor was hospitalized in a Mumbai hospital following a low sugar attack.
When his condition worsened, he was put on ventilator. He was an associate writer with Salim Khan and is said to shaped Salman Khan’s career. He was seen in Hindi movies in The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, Firaag, Being Cyrus, Oh My God, and What’s Your Raashee? among others. He directed more than 15 Gujrati films.
